Merit System Rules
 

The Merit System, adopted by the Personnel Commission of Santa Paula Elementary School District in 1968, provides statutory protection through the California Education Code (Title 2, Part 25, Chapter 5, Article 6, Sections 45240 through 45320) against politically and personally motivated employment, promotion, discipline and dismissal actions. These protections are defined in the Merit System Rules established and maintained by the Personnel Commission and the Classified Human Resources Office.
