  • SAFETY REMINDER - Friday, October 7

On Friday morning, October 7th, the Santa Paula Unified School District was made aware that adults pretending to be “clowns” are scaring students through inappropriate social media postings. These “clowns” may also appear on Santa Paula streets with the intent of scaring or intimidating students.

We offer the following tips to keep your children safe:  Walk with your friends, tell a friend where you are going, avoid secluded places, avoid poorly lit areas, always charge your cell phone and keep it on you, trust your instinct, which means if you feel you are in a dangerous situation, or that you are being pressured, you’re probably right, and you need to tell someone.

The Santa Paula Police Department has informed us that if any student is harassed or made afraid of by a “clown” to please contact the police department at (805) 525-4474.

This is for informational purposes only and intended to remind our students and parents to be aware of your surroundings and help ensure that students arrive to school safely on a daily basis.

RECORDATORIO DE SEGURIDAD - Viernes, Octubre 7
